Our Teachers
Mrs. Rippy
Mrs. Rippy, our Koala and Panda teacher, has been leading our preschool classes through their days of learning and play since 2002, and was a cooperative preschool parent when her own children attended EPC beginning in 1997. She is extremely knowledgeable about co-op, and is a strong believer in play being the most important work for young children. Mrs. Rippy has had extensive training in various aspects of early childhood education, and is a trainer/coach for Brain Gym and new member CPT Training. She is married and has two children. She grew up on the South side and is proud to be such an integral part of Edgewood Cooperative Preschool, as teaching preschool is her passion!
Mrs. Amanda
Mrs. Amanda, our STAY and PLAY teacher, has been involved in EPC since her oldest son started at EPC in 2013. She joined the Board of Directors in 2014 and served as co-president for 3 years before becoming the co-director after her youngest child graduated EPC in 2018. Mrs. Amanda is married and has 2 children. She is excited to expand her role at EPC by working more closely with the preschoolers and their parents in the classroom!
